But from the beginning you could tell that she had secrets. She seemed like a genuinely kind person who had given her life to God. In many ways, I couldn’t help rooting for Shelby. The Characters in Trace of Doubtįrom the very beginning, Shelby seemed like someone who was trying to do the right thing but had gotten the wrong end of the stick.
